Questions
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. Ask about early check-in; we accommodate it when the schedule allows.
How many people does the lodge sleep?
The whole lodge has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and 11 beds, and sleeps up to 20. Half the lodge has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and sleeps 11.
Is there a minimum stay?
Most dates have a 2-night minimum; the calendar shows the exact minimum for your dates.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. The pet fee is $50 per stay, and we ask that pets stay off the furniture.
Can we host an event or wedding at the lodge?
No. The lodge is lodging for overnight guests only. Many wedding parties stay with us and hold the event at a Mentone venue.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, 1-gig fiber internet, plus a dedicated workspace.
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking or vaping inside. There is a $500 cleaning fee if smoking is detected.
Are there stairs?
Yes. The main-level primary suite has only a few steps; the other bedrooms are up or down a flight of stairs.
How far is the grocery store?
The lodge is out in the country, so we recommend bringing groceries. Fort Payne has the closest full grocery stores.
What is the cancellation policy?
